4 Exercises From Gisele’s Trainer That Will Make Your Abs Burn

It’s only early October, but there’s a 90 percent chance that you already have a pumpkin sitting somewhere in your house or on your front porch. And while you’re still deciding on the perfect design to carve (cough cough, bicep emoji) supermodel Gisele Bündchen’s trainer, Jill Payne, has a pretty great idea on how to use that pumpkin to help build a stronger core.

In her latest Instagram video (above), Payne shows off four awesome-for-your-abs exercises that use the seasonal decoration as resistance—think weighted twists and crunches. Of course you can always use a different gourd, dumbbell, or kettlebell instead of the pumpkin. 

If you’re heading to the patch this weekend, be sure to grab a pumpkin that’s at least five pounds—maybe bust out a few test twists before purchasing. And if you’re looking for some pumpkin cardio dance moves…
